1955 1956 CHEVY BEL AIR, 150, 210 NEW REPRODUCTION GAS TANK, OEM SPECIFICATIONS. This brand new exact reproduction Chevrolet fuel tank is made to original GM specs. It has the correct ZINC GALVANIZED finish. Dimensions are 25-1/4" x 25" x 8-1/4". Fuel capacity is 16 gallons. This is the SQUARE CORNER version. There is also a round corner version available. Please see our other listing. They are interchangeable. Some cars originally had square corner tanks, others came with rounded corner tanks. Pick the one that your car had originally, or the one you prefer. Either style will fit perfectly. The o-rings for installing the filler neck, and the gasket and screw kit for installing the sending unit are included. It fits all 1955 and 1956 Chevrolet full-size passenger car models, including Bel Air, 150, and 210 series cars. It fits all hardtops, convertibles, and sedans. It DOES NOT fit station wagons, sedan deliveries, or Nomads.
